Chicago Illinois Latin Theme Entertainment
There are year round events to
tempt salsa lovers. There's nothing tropical or Caribbean about
the temperature in January, but it's a great time to enjoy the
Winter Celebration in Lights at the Garfield Park Conservatory.
Art is on display in February
at the Around The Coyote Winter Festival, as well as various
salsa dance nightclubs, while March features ComedySportz March
Madness, where teams of comedians vie for the winning place.
Baseball, soccer and antiques
are on offer in April. If you enjoy Latin music and Cuban music,
then you may also want to take a peek at film from the region
in the Latino Film Festival in April.
There's more comedy on offer
for salsa dancers at the Comedy Festival in May, while the Internet
Street Fair in June will tempt technology enthusiast.
There's also a salsa music dance
entertainment festival in June. July features live bands in the
Chicago Summerdance. This may be your chance to see a Latin dance
show, and free lessons are on offer for a variety of dance styles.
August is the best time for those
interested in a Latin theme party or Cuban theme party. It's
time to enjoy the tropical summer days with Caribbean salsa.
The Chicago Latin Festival will
have you dancing in the streets, with live music and great food.
Entertainment doesn't get much better for salsa dancers.
September features football,
the Chicago Jazz Festival and the Mexican Independence Day Parade.
There will be more Latin music and dancing in the streets at
this lively event.
October is the month for hockey
and the city's International Film Festival. Round out the year
with tree lighting in November and carolling in December. |
